HPL are one of a small group of printing companies in the UK to have achieved the prestigious FSC accreditation, allowing the incorporation of the FSC logo on anything printed on FSC approved paper.

Paper, however, is only part of the story. We operate both ISO9001 (quality) and ISO 14001 (environment) management systems

Processless Plates
We have recently installed a Screen 4300 CtP pre-press system which produces processless printing plates - no chemicals are used in the process of platemaking

Inks
Our standard printing inks are produced from vegetable based oils, reducing the impact of mineral oils and making for better recyclability

Waste Disposal
HPL currently recycle the following waste streams through certified and approved waste contractors

• Cardboard
• Used pallets
• Inks
• Plastic wrap
• Expired computer equipment and components
• Used litho plates
• Press chemistry
